Shifting Perspectives and Exploring Passions | Niamh Shaw | TEDxAUBG. As an ESA Champion for Education a fellow of The Explorers Club and Engineers Ireland, and a space reporter and writer for The Irish times, , she has been inspiring audiences worldwide for over 12 years. Niamh's work has earned her recognition as one of UCD's 2022 Class Acts and a Science Foundation Ireland award in 2018. Her ultimate aspiration is to report live from the International Space Station or the Moon. This talk was given at a TEDx event in Bulgaria in 2022.

Niamh shares her inspiring journey of self-discovery, perspective shifts, and her passion for astronomy and space exploration. She tells us about the choices she made and did not make, her dream to become an astronaut, and how this led her to change her life. Niamh is a writer, communicator, and educator coming from Ireland. She is passionate about igniting curiosity and rekindling people's passion for knowledge! She shares her love for science and space through various means, including podcasts, videos, and social media.
